Our Why

Light by Blayne was founded in 2025 to solve a clarity problem.

For most of my life, I’ve been a person of action. Over the last twenty years, I built an art career, a top-ranked financial podcast, and a family by having an idea and jumping in with both feet. But somewhere in the middle of all that movement, I found myself getting lost.

I knew the big idea was there somewhere — but what was it? What was the end point? What did success actually look like? And more importantly, what did I really want?

I worked at a large desk with multiple monitors, and I always had a candle lit nearby. One day I thought, what if I wrote my biggest goal on the side of the candle and lit it every day as a reminder of what I was working toward?

I called two friends and asked them to come with me to a candle-making shop so I could try to make one myself. That was the beginning.

What started as a personal experiment quickly became something I wanted to share with people I loved — people who felt stuck, overwhelmed, or simply needed a small spark to remember who they were and where they were going.

Since then, I’ve watched friends and strangers alike pick up a candle and say the same thing:

“I need this.”

People began coming back to buy them as gifts.
“My friend needs help with ____.”
“My sister needs one of these right now.”

I’ve seen them used for buying houses, leaving jobs, finding love, maintaining a peaceful home, searching for healing, and moving toward better health. And over and over again, people would send a simple message after using it:

“It works.”

Not because a candle makes something happen — but because clarity changes how we move through the world.

And that’s how Light by Blayne grew.
A small light in the dark.
A candle in the window.
A path leading you forward.

Why it exists now

Light by Blayne isn’t about making something happen.
It’s about creating a moment each day to remember what matters and take one small step toward it.

Everyone reaches a point where they feel stuck or unsure of what comes next. The candle is simply a tool — a quiet reminder to pause, get clear, and move forward with intention.

If you need a little light right now, this was made for you.
